Episode 4 Woosung
2023 was a big year for The Rose. Congratulations! Was it all planned or more spontaneous?
Woosung said there was the intent. They had a better team and they knew better how to present The Rose. But also said that it was just going with the flow.
Planning and thinking of the message they want to share and then see how it goes.
“This year we had a new album and a better team. […] So we had better teamwork […] I´m always going with the flow because there´s not much I can control in terms of which song does well and which doesn´t. […] Which festival we are going to go to or what our ticket sales will be like […] What we do is just plan to have a message that we want to spread and show through music, we plan that and hope for the best.“ - Woosung
Episode 5 Dojoon
2023 was a big year for The Rose. Congratulations! Did you guys plan everything or just ride with the waves as it came?
Dojoon also agrees with Woosung. They have like a planning but some things just are super spontaneous and going beyond their expectations, He gave the Kia Forum as an example as it was the first concert they did with a capacity of 10k and it was very different for them.
“Exactly, we surfed! I never thought that this has to be this way and has to be this, later it always ends up being a great moment. […] Los Angeles was the biggest show and the feeling was different […] All I can say is that it was big and different.“ - Dojoon
Episode 6 Hajoon & Jaehyeong
2023 was a big year for The Rose. Congratulations! Did you guys plan everything or just ride with the waves as it came?
Jaehyeong said that each member handled things differently and that´s why they got very different results from their ‘Plans’. He meant that even though it was planned, some spontaneous moments were more like riding with the waves.
Hajoon just agreed.
“I think it´s always different because we have our style. Especially this time, as we went in a different direction with our album, so I think that´s why we had different results, but at the same time, we still made music, released an album, and toured in the same way. We gave our best in every situation and that´s why I think we had these other results. […]“ - Jaehyeong
