“~” is your standard intro. Devoid of lyrics, the track relies on the natural sounds of a forest and a far-away-sounding melody to set the tone for the entire album.

Coming after the title track, the outro contains bell-like synths and the sounds of nature, and at times, it even sounds like we’re underwater. The outro seems to mirror the intro, though this time we hear human movement—footsteps crunching down on leaves and branches.

This album also particularly caters to those who place an emphasis on vocal delivery and expression. Due to its indie, soft-rock, and post-Britpop influences (just to list a few), on no songs do the instrumentals overwhelm the track so much that the vocals have to take a backseat. Standout vocal timbres are also present in “Time” and “Yes,” where one can experience for themselves the power of vocal manipulation.
